Cattery Terms and Conditions

Cattery boarding Terms and Conditions

Record of inoculation

We kindly request that all cats are accompanied by a valid, up-to-date certificate of inoculation against feline influenza and enteritis for acceptance. Annual booster injections are required, and all vaccinations must be administered at least 2 weeks before the booking begins; unfortunately, no exceptions can be made to this requirement.

Fleas

Additionally, we ask that your cat has received recent flea treatment. Please note that there will be a charge of £10.00 for any cat requiring flea treatment, payable before collection. We hope you understand that all cats will be checked for fleas, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Veterinary service

In case of any health concerns arising during your cat’s stay, necessary treatment will be promptly arranged through Aspen Vets or the current veterinarian if specified during the boarding period. It’s important to note that veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the owner and must be settled before your cat’s collection. Although we take utmost care, it’s essential to understand that the cattery management cannot assume responsibility for these fees.
In the event of an emergency where immediate action is necessary and we are unable to reach you through the provided contact information, both the vet and the cattery management will make decisions in the best interest of your cat’s health and well-being. Your prompt attention and responsiveness to any communication attempts are greatly appreciated.

Sharing

For your peace of mind, we highly recommend pet insurance. Cats from the same household booked into double, twin, or family rooms will share a room. However, owners grant permission for their cats to be separated in case of any issues. Please note that cats from different households are never placed together.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome during our opening hours, but appointments are necessary to ensure a member of staff is available to assist you. Unfortunately, visiting at the time of delivery is not permitted without prior arrangement.

Payment

Charges for bookings apply from the day of drop-off until and including the day of collection for each day or part-day. Full payment for all outstanding charges is required upon collection.

Deposit and cancellation

At the time of booking, a non-refundable deposit of £30.00 per cat per week will be taken, which will be deducted from the final amount due. Please note that this deposit will not be refunded if the booking is cancelled less than four weeks before check-in time.

Early Collection/Amendments

All days booked at the time of booking must be paid for in full. Unfortunately, no refunds can be provided for early collection without prior notice, and any amendments shortening the booking duration will be treated as early collections, requiring payment for the full booking.

House visits

Advance payment is necessary for house feeding visits, and refunds will be facilitated for cancelled visits.

Non-collection

In the event that animals are not collected within 7 days after the agreed collection date, we reserve the right to find alternative arrangements for their care.

Toys

Please ensure you inform us of your cat’s preferences. By boarding with us, you grant permission for your cats to engage with toys. Your understanding and compliance with these guidelines are greatly appreciated
